Kimberley, world traveller

Kimberley, world traveller

Kimberley went on a journey with 'Soul Island Ibiza' to let go of her old life and start a new one. When we started our road trip, she was ready for a change. She was gung-ho to get a revolution going. This created a dynamic exchange between us.

Our road trip was inspiring, beautiful and great fun. The transformation that I witnessed during those four days was impressive. Kimberley reclaimed her inner wisdom and intuition. What a privilege it was to be her guide. What a lot of courage, vulnerability and spirit my youngest guest showed.

I can proudly tell you that Kimberley is building the life of her dreams today. It’s a tremendous joy to see her shine on the new adventurous path she has chosen to go.

Last summer I travelled the road with Eveline, a heartwarming yoga teacher from Belgium. We experienced a very nice soul journey. Sitting on a clifftop, watching the sky disappearing into the clear blue sea, Eveline dared to dive really deep. Thanks to that she dissolved the blockage that separated her from her desired future. Because she had the guts to surrender the spark was on again in just a day.

I’m so happy with the wonderful review Bas wrote about the four-day roadtrip we’ve made late September. Why am I so happy? Because he dares to be open. Bas tells profoundly and openly what the trip gave to him.

Bas, thanks for our special journey together and for your comments. I’m grateful and happy that Ibiza and I could make you fly.

Walking through Morna Valley and later a lovely lunch and swim at Pou des Lleo. Thank you so much Irene for giving me new insights and positive vibes on our day together. Looking forward to part 2 next month!

I had no specific reasons to come to Ibiza, but I decided to do so because of two things: our wonderful dog Naya was born on Ibiza and I read the words Irene wrote about herself on this website.

Irene and I visited many beautiful places during our time together, we talked a lot and did a number of excercises. Irene’s inspirational coaching gave me further insight into what I am going to do with my life in future.

Irene is a special woman. She’s completely herself all the time, warm, enthusiastic and creative. When I think of her, the first picture that comes to mind is Irene driving her car, singing loudly and out of tune (but with conviction!) to the soundtrack of the musical Hair. She clearly loves doing what she’s doing, which is infectious. It’s the Irene factor that made it all worthwhile.

At the age of 63 I was at a turning point in life. Within a month I would be a pensioner, I would stop the work of my heart. My new future frightened me. For the first time in my life there was no one to take care of, except me. My children were dispersed and happy, my husband had recently died.

And now what to do? How will I - after 38 years of fulltime work and taking care of others - give meaning to my life again? That question puzzled me when I came to the island.

… I was just fed up with looking like my father when I thought he really started to look old, having two kids who constantly complain about what I think is good for them, administering the household with or against my overworked wife and running after my dog to scratch his shit off the streets.
